Dr. Jaco Viljoen is a dedicated orthopaedic surgeon with a profound commitment to improving his patients' quality of life through expert care and compassion. Graduating with his MBChB in 2004 and later obtaining his MMed Ortho and FC Orth SA qualifications, Dr. Viljoen has built a reputation as a leader in his field.
Early in his career, he served as the head of the tumors, Sepsis, and Limb Reconstruction Unit at Steve Biko Academic Hospital, where he treated complex cases involving bone infections, fractures, and bone tumors.
His experience in this role, combined with his specialized training, inspired him to open his private practice to provide more personalised care.
Dr. Viljoen’s unique approach is rooted in his passion for orthopaedics and his dedication to his patients' well-being. With a special focus on managing bone infections, orthopaedic oncology, and deformity correction, Dr. Viljoen is committed to offering each patient tailored solutions and compassionate care.
